Our track record
The company has a strong track record of over $2,3M in sales and 4,000 installations with over 1,000 connected devices.
At the beginning of 2016, we opened two new offices in Ireland and the US.
So far, we have raised $1M investment for R&D and global expansion of our business from venture capital funds in Europe and from Enterprise Ireland under their High Potential Start-Up Program.
Enterprise Ireland is the government organisation responsible for the development and growth of Irish enterprises in world markets. They work in partnership with Irish enterprises to help us start, grow, innovate and win export sales in global markets. In this way, they support sustainable economic growth, regional development and secure employment.
High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) Funding Enterprise Ireland is responsible for supporting High Potential Start-Up (HPSU) Companies. HPSUs are start-up businesses with the potential to develop an innovative product or service for sale on international markets and the potential to create 10 jobs and €1m in sales within 3 to 4 years of starting up.
CountBOX installs people counters at the entrances of stores, counts incoming and outgoing shoppers, connects this data to the point of sales to calculate conversion ratio, and transforms data instantly into user-friendly reports in the cloud platform.
We’ve adopted a monthly subscription model that encourages retail management to use more data in the cloud and we are developing advanced demographic sensors.
We have hundreds of clients using our services, with over 1,000 connected devices, including Apple, Samsung, TJ Collection, Tommy Hilfiger, Subaru, Hyundai, Swarovski, Tony Kealys and Carrolls Irish Gifts.
In two years we will be manufacturing our own counters with demographic sensors. We will use artificial intelligence technology to gather, store and analyse offline data and match it with online data about shoppers.
Demographics to track shoppers’ loyalty
We are developing a valuable new feature for our product – a sensor to track demographic data about shoppers. Store management will be able to access insightful data about their visitors in the cloud. Demographic data is of great value to any business as it drives sales and brand loyalty.
Artificial Intelligence algorithms for consumer feedback
We are working on implementing consumer feedback gathering algorithms, detailing their shopping experiences, which we source from social networks like Twitter and Instagram, into the cloud. When it’s complete, store managers will be able to see whether buyers leave positive or negative comments on social networks about their shopping experience. Having this information in the cloud dashboard, a manager can track whether the number of visitors to their store is increasing, whether shoppers’ feedback is improving, and whether their target audience is growing. Based on this data, management will be able to identify any training, advertising, customer service and inventory needs.
Webrooming and showrooming are equally important for retailers because there are cases when online traffic drives offline sales. Knowing consumers online and comparing this information with demographic footfall data offline brings retailers extra insights. Analysts and marketing managers in retail stores can calculate correlations between these data sets and develop online and offline campaigns that continuously surprise shoppers with relevant promotions and in-demand products on the shelf.
We work with mid-sized retail chains with up to 150 stores and with other retail-related companies and public organisations such as commercial real estate companies, commercial banks , fitness centers, city parks, museums and fairs.
In partnership with HELLA Aglaia, a German manufacturer of people counters, we deliver a ready-to-use and accurate solution, that is easy to install. CountBOX advanced features that enable our clients to go beyond merely people counting.
